On Sunday, March 28, our team will participate in a 10-kilometer fundraising walkathon through Fort Lauderdale to address the AIDS crisis in our community. We'll be joined by thousands of others who understand that we must take action now to halt the escalating spread of HIV/AIDS in south Florida.

All the funds our team raises will return to the GLCC/Pride Center for use in HIV services. The GLCC/Pride Center provides a welcoming, safe space--an inclusive home that celebrates, nurtures and empowers the community and our friends and neighbors in South Florida.

We need your help. Could you walk with our team? (We hope to have 100 walkers.) Could you sponsor us financially? Would you help us recruit more walkers or sponsors? We hope we can count on your support. We need caring people like you to collaborate with us to impact our community and fight HIV/AIDS.

You can make a donation to our campaign right here on the Florida AIDS Walk website. If you wish to make a donation by check, please send an email to one of the team members so we can add you to our list of offline contributors. Please make checks payable to Florida AIDS Walk. Also, be sure to include the name of the person you are sponsoring and "GLCC/Pride Center" to ensure proper credit. Your gift to this worthy cause is fully tax-deductible.
